Sugar Glider Cake for my Animal Care Team

I made this for the students who help take care of the animals in my classroom.  Below are a couple of pictures of our sugar gliders.

Tyler's 18th Birthday Marine Corps Cake

Here's what I had to go by:

And, the finished cake. 

I'm pretty happy with how it turned out, except that my lettering is off.

(Hard to judge where to start and stop on a circle - if I had it to do over, I would have done the lettering first and THEN added the eagle/globe/anchor.)

It was a BIG cake.... that silver plate is actually a pizza pan! (It is sitting on a kitchen stool.)

Later at the party... I thought it looked neat with 18 candles on it :-).
